Nissan CPO vehicles are used cars, trucks, or SUVs that have gone through an inspection and certification process. This confirms that each CPO Nissan meets rigorous standards for condition and performance. Nissan stands behind its CPO vehicles and offers a factory backed limited warranty to buyers, available only on Nissan CPO vehicles.

Does Any Used Nissan Qualify?

No — only vehicles that meet the stringent standards set by Nissan qualify as CPO vehicles. Nissan CPO vehicles must:

  • Be less than six years past their initial in-service date
  • Have fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer
  • Have a clean title
  • Pass the Nissan inspection and certification process

Nissan Certified Pre-Owned Benefits

167-Point Inspection

All Nissan CPO vehicles must pass a 167-point comprehensive inspection performed by Nissan-trained technicians. This inspection process includes replacement or reconditioning of components as needed with Nissan-approved parts. It also includes a full review of the vehicle’s Nissan service history and the CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. The vehicle is not a Nissan CPO vehicle until the inspection and certification process has been completed.

Warranty

Nissan CPO vehicles come with a seven-year/100,000-mile limited warranty that extends for seven years from the original new car in-service date or until the vehicle reaches 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty covers more than 600 components — including the engine, transmission, and drivetrain — giving you confidence that Nissan stands behind its certification process and its vehicles. You can even transfer the warranty to one subsequent private owner.

CARFAX® Buyback Guarantee

Unique in the used car industry, every Nissan CPO vehicle comes with the three-year CARFAX® Buyback Guarantee.
